Accessibility

Last updated: September 29, 2026

We want everyone to be able to use TheLAB and customgolflab.de, including people with disabilities. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, as our reference and are working to meet them.

Current status

TheLAB does not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Known limitations include:

• Text in the app does not follow the system font size. Instead, the app has its own text size setting in your profile (Standard, Large, Extra large); the course map keeps its own size.
• Support for screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack) is incomplete; some buttons and charts have no text labels yet.
• The course map and the swing video player are visual by nature and have no full text alternative.
• Some animations do not yet respect the "Reduce Motion" setting.

We review these areas and fix them step by step. Distances, scores and shot data are also available as text in the scorecard and statistics.

Feedback and help

If you run into a barrier or need information in another format, email us at info@customgolflab.de. Please tell us which page or screen is affected. We will reply and work on a solution.
